About ABOUTSSL.

ABOUTSSL helps website owners and administrators understand TLS certificates and work with the files used to deploy them.

The workbench performs a bounded public certificate lookup. The workshop explains OpenSSL, Windows PowerShell, certificate requests, conversions and PFX bundles. “SSL” is the familiar name; our live checker uses modern TLS 1.2 or 1.3.

Useful Evidence, Clear Limits

We report what one connection observes, not a universal security grade. Results may differ across addresses, networks, CDNs and trust stores. These tools are for casual troubleshooting and learning, not bulk scanning or bypassing access controls.
